Five-stars-plus and kudos to Kristen Ashley for another fantastic book!

Mitch Lawson is definitely a 10.5 on the hero-scale!! He grabbed my attention the moment he walked onto the pages of "Mystery Man." For me, that was just a tease and I wanted more, more, more. Ok, back when I first read these books I wasn't a reviewer. It looks like I was starting to get courage to do it because this one has three sentences, but I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote them! No, I know why I wrote them. That end. It was sweet. I love KA. I mean, LOVE her but for some reason this one drove me fucking mad. Like talk to myself, roll my eyes, want to **Re-Read**

I love KA. I mean, LOVE her but for some reason this one drove me fucking mad. Like talk to myself, roll my eyes, want to bang my head against the wall, mad and it was all because of Mara.

So, let's talk about someone with low self esteem. Someone who would consider herself a "2.5" on this stupid scale she rated people on would be nothing at all like the person in this book. A 2.5 would not have been a salesperson. A 2.5 wouldn't wear tight skirts and high freaking heels. A 2.5 would not EVER wear a bikini and lay by the pool. A 2.5 would not wear her hair in a twist or a pony tail because she would want to hide behind it.

Mara was a fucking contradiction and she was a stuttering fool and I just don't even for one second see what Mitch saw in her. Um, uh, um, uh, um, uh, um, uh. That is all she ever fucking said! Gah! She drove me fucking crazy.

I have no idea why she didn't the first go round. This time though, she made no sense to me.

I love the whole pain in the ass worth it vibe KA does but this time, I just don't know if Mitch would have believed that. She pushed so fucking hard and I would have given up on her. She was ridiculous with her reasoning and Mitch was insane with his determination.

I'm going to stop there. I'll leave my rating the way it is because that is how I felt when it was new but man, I'm either in a bad mood or I've had a personality transplant because this time, Mara, no.

On to Tack. Oh boy, I do not dig bikers. Yikes, I'm nervous.

Okay it's been a while since I read this and was evidently in love with it at that time. Don't get me wrong, I still liked it this time, but not as much as I apparently did in the past. This time I kept thinking that Mitch needed a woman who was more confident. I understand that Mara went through a sh*t childhood, and that affected how she saw herself in a major way, but her rating/zone system annoyed the shit out of me.

Okay it's been a while since I read this and was evidently in love with it at that time. Don't get me wrong, I still liked it this time, but not as much as I apparently did in the past. This time I kept thinking that Mitch needed a woman who was more confident. I understand that Mara went through a sh*t childhood, and that affected how she saw herself in a major way, but her rating/zone system annoyed the shit out of me.

The turnaround happened when she got Billy & Billie. I absolutely loved those kids and how Mara and Mitch was willing to go to bat for them 100%. More than anything I was wishing I could just take them in my arms and give them both the biggest hug.

It also got even better once Mara got her head out of her ass and started living in the real world (as Mitch likes to say) and realized what she had in her life: Two beautiful kids, friends that have her back, and a man who is crazy about her.

I could not put this book down. I had a raging headache that wouldn't go away, even after does of medication, but I kept reading. I just couldn't stop.

I thought that I loved the other books in this series, but those didn't hold a candle on this one.

I have a girl crush, and she started out living in Mara World, and that was an often time hilarious place to be, but when she came out it got even better. Plus, I love Mitch. Mara and I would have to share him. He is the embodiment of what a man, especially a book boyfriend should be: hot and sexy, patient, protective, understanding, and alpha to the core.

I laughed a lot and cried a little through this story. I love when it feels like I am experiencing what the characters must feel at any given moment from love, to sadness, to fear, and anger.

Lastly I have to mention Billy and Billie, my heart was broken for them, but was mended along with theirs. It is sad, but true that there are children who have to go through what these two babies did or worse everyday. Their father and mothers were worthless pieces of crap..

Hightlight: We got to see Hawk/Gwen, Brock/Tessa, Elvira(always crazy), Lee, Hank, and Eddie(I'm sure I forgot to mention someone, but if you have read more than this series you know what I mean, and if you haven't you should.)

Whew! Another awesome read from KA. Mitch is so sweet- but just when I was getting sick of all the syrupy sweet things he was saying to Mara, the action picked up. I cried when Mitch had the heart-to-heart with Bud (on the couch) and I laughed so hard at the girls' night out where they were making fun of Hawk, lol! Loved Mara's reaction to seeing Hawk for the first time. I also cried and laughed while reading the wonderful, beautiful epilogue. *sigh* What a beautiful family. ...more
