WOW! What a poignant story. I loved every sentence. I loved each character. I loved it all. I feel like I have been taught a great life lesson that I pray I never have to actually put into practice. At least not to this degree. As sad as this story is, it is equally beautiful and full of wisdom. I loved Fern, Bailey, and Ambrose from the very beginning. When I started reading Making Faces late one night, I was in a bit of a book rut. I had heard many people saying to read this book so I thought I would give it a go. Nobody told me that reading this book would be eye opening or make you feel so deeply that your heart hurt for the characters. Well here is your warning! Making Faces blew me away. I couldn’t stop turning pages, I had to know what happened next. I was entrapped until the very end and loved every second of it.

I'm really picky about books I read sometimes. I had this book on my wish list for a while and soon as the price dropped i got it. I like instabonds probably because that's what I write about. This was not one of those books. I laughed and cried a lot because I could feel the emotion of the characters. At one point I was flat out sobbing. Well written and beautifully executed.
