What Members Thought
There are so many characters in this book that it's hard to keep track of who's who. The story is told from pretty much everyone's point of view, but there's no organization to it. One paragraph will sound like the thoughts in Franny's head and then all of a sudden the next paragraph switches to Bert. Same thing with the time. At one moment it's present day, then all of a sudden I'm reading a story that happened 20 years ago, and there's no warning. Parts of the book dragged on, and yet I feel l
