I love this book it is one of my top favourite read this year along with Phantasma 💜 the beginning was full of action and immediately got me hooked into the story. Afterward it was a bit slow but worth it as I got to learn more about the FMC and new characters. When Fisher appeared I was absolutely hooked even more this character is by far one of my favourite MMC characters ever!! 😍😍🥵🥵🔥🔥 the teasing, flirting and smut in this book was absolute fire!! The chemistry and build up of the relationshi I love this book it is one of my top favourite read this year along with Phantasma 💜 the beginning was full of action and immediately got me hooked into the story. Afterward it was a bit slow but worth it as I got to learn more about the FMC and new characters. When Fisher appeared I was absolutely hooked even more this character is by far one of my favourite MMC characters ever!! 😍😍🥵🥵🔥🔥 the teasing, flirting and smut in this book was absolute fire!! The chemistry and build up of the relationship between Fisher & Saeris Fane was perfectly timed and so cute I really enjoyed reading about them they are definitely well suited for each other. I wouldn’t say this was an enemies to lovers as they weren’t really enemies there was way too much flirting and teasing going on but it was not cringey at all. Instead it was fun and even funny at times these characters are enjoyable to read about. Kingfisher also explains things toward the end of the book about his treatment of Saeris in the beginning.

I really enjoyed reading from Saeris POV she is a strong character and one of my favourite FMC. Also her reactions are hilarious when the others say silly things or joke around her. The world building and other character relationships were also quite strong in this book. There are quite a lot of favourites in it and the way they joke and make conversation made me laugh a lot especially the sarcastic comments and joking around. saeris was a thief in a desert world where water is extremely limited and stolen. But it quickly interesting with Saeris’ ability to manipulate the Quicksilver. This skill becomes useful in the upcoming war. For some of quicksilver isn’t handled correctly it can drive them insane.

Quicksilver has some great plot twists and a fun ending. It wasn’t packed with action all the way through but imo it didn’t have to be when you read it you’ll get what I mean the characters made the book enjoyable I couldn’t put it down. I should add toward the end of the book my heart was racing as I was nervous about the outcome of the situation the characters were in. I looooooove this book and highly recommend it. Truly no notes. I had an excellent time. The characters were SO lovable, I’m such a sucker for found family and banter and boy oh boy did Quicksilver have it! The names were so creative and unique (except Renfis almostttt being the reverse of ToG Fenrys but we can overlook that). Not only that, BUT THERE WAS PLOT! And we got not one, not two, not even three, but literally SO many plot twists I can’t wait for book 2!

Carrion was 100% my favorite character (okay and Onyx) and can we just take a ...more

Valt het op dat ik fan ben? Quicksilver was een easy 5 star read voor mij en ik raad hem dus ook aan aan alle fantasy girlies!! De enemies to lovers are enemies to lover-ing, het magiesysteem is goed uitgewerkt, het heeft fae EN EN EN vampieren (en nog een aantal andere wezens), een found family om u tegen te zeggen… en nog zoveel meer 🥹. Saeris is ook echt een badass & I like my fmc’s like that.

This book was hyped so much on bookstagram I just had to see for myself and honestly I have mixed feelings.
I would have rated it 4 starts if not for the unnecessary and explicit smut. Plus fisher and saeris were more in lust than in love? To be honest I didn’t see any emotional bonding between them. It was purely lust until the author decide to shove the word ‘mate’ down there throat! Mate is much more than lust and I wished I read more about their connection and how their bond deepened ...more

WuAHAHAHhaheheheha so I was judging fr when I saw this cover but the reviews were SO GOOD so I had to give it a shot and boy oh boy oh mama was I glad I did. We all know I’m a sucker for the fae/human crossover and this is that to the max. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for book 2 (so much so that when I read it was coming out in October I was kicking my feet giggling IN PUBLIC). Give it a read fr I am so excited for anyone who starts it.
