By far one of the best fantasy series I’ve read in my life. I don’t know how a second book can be better than the first but I didn’t want it to end! This is my top book series of the year!

I devoured this duology I literally couldn’t sleep until I finished it! And yes I’m absolutely crying over Nightmare, Elspeth, and Ravyn’s relationship it’s so precious I love them sm. Elm and Ione were everything in this book and I always found myself (impatiently) waiting for Elm’s pov just to know more about them. Definitely a new favorite 🥹

Rachel; Thank you for the delicate rhymes throughout the book. One Dark Window also had this element but it seemed a lot more prevalent in this one.

Nightmare - Elspeth

My favourite part about this was the fact that Elspeth took a back seat in the story. In doing so, she contributed a lot more than she did in the first book. I felt as though Elspeth played the stronger role as Nightmare' ...more
