Took me a while to read book two. Not sure why exactly. It was really good. Better pacing and more engaging than the first book (although that one was good as well).
The setting was fantastic, dark and mystical filled with themes of trees. The magic system and magic creatures and just overall uniqueness is unparalleled.

By far one of the best fantasy series I’ve read in my life. I don’t know how a second book can be better than the first but I didn’t want it to end! This is my top book series of the year!

Rachel; Thank you for the delicate rhymes throughout the book. One Dark Window also had this element but it seemed a lot more prevalent in this one.

Wow! That was amazing. Such an adventure and unique story. Never would have thought of a magic system like that of this story. Was definitely a great read! Loved the ending!
Unique magical element, just enough world building to draw you in but not so much as to lose you. Very clever. Be wary, be clever, be good.
