So I chose this book thinking it was a mystery and I was wrong. With the exception of the diary entries and the last 100 or so pages this was the life as a woman undertaker in Victorian London. Wasn't a bad read but not what I was expecting. I also didn't care for all the random characters that the author did nothing with. Like Lincoln, he was mentioned 2-3 times and for no reason. He's parts could literally be cut out and it wouldn't have made a difference other than probably made me like the b
