I don't read a lot of nonfiction. I read this one as part of the Americans and the Holocaust exhibit and grant that the Athens-Clarke County Library received.
I found it hard to not see parallels in this book and current events. Ambassador Dodd didn't want the job as ambassador to Germany, but ended up doing what President Roosevelt wanted him to.
