I don't read a lot of science fiction as it is one of my least favorite genres. I was bored through most of this novel. I found the last third the most enjoyable. I didn't feel much of a connection with the characters until Wun and Ina were introduced. My book club was pretty evenly split between loved it, it was okay, and couldn't finish it.
