What Members Thought

In a subgenre where most post-apocalyptic books follow the same few tropes pretty faithfully, this was a refreshing change of pace. The collapse of society was looked at through the lens of the Anishinaabe,a Native American tribe who were displaced from their ancestral homes, and the novel was set at a reservation in remote Canada.

This was a quick read. The words and sentences just flowed so well. I'm glad that there is a sequel planned as I would like to see how things turn out in the long term for the characters.
