What becomes known as the Pulse blares through everyone's cell phone making anyone who was on a call or makes a call go crazy. Clay is a comic book artist who just got his big break when the Pulse happens. He doesn't own a cell phone. He witnesses people attack each other and forget who they are. I finally read my first Stephen King novel (I listened to it). It was okay. The audiobook was well done. The plot wasn't too exciting. Perhaps if I had read this when it was first published it would have felt more original.
