This was a little more hardcore science fiction than I care to read. I kept getting lost in the descriptions of the tech that I wasn't sure what the story was really about. It probably didn't help that it appeared that everyone was manipulating the main character. ...more

I don't usually like award winning books, so it makes sense that I didn't like this one, the only book to win the Hugo, Nebula, and Philip K. Dick Awards. I'm not really sure what I just read.
