A quirky story told by American journalist John Grogran about his family's life with their Labrador Retriever, Marley. A simple, honest telling that was a bit slow in the middle and sometimes a little repetitive.
I did agree with the reviewer that commented on the irresponsibility of people willing to pay for a dog but failing to research a breed or the breeder until after the fact. Sounded a little stupid for a journalist.
I giggled at quite a few of Marley's antics & challenging ADHD behaviour.

Recently turned into a major motion picture, Marley and Me, is the autobiographical story of a family who comes to own the world’s worst dog.

John and his wife, Jenny, decide to get a puppy before having children in the hopes it will help prepare them. What they don’t realize until much later, is that Marley is no ordinary dog, and they missed some crucial steps. But despite all that, the Grogan family continues to grow, love and nuture their dog through good times and bad.
