This is a great movie and mini-series but I would have to be honest and say the book is a little to advanced for me at the moment.

I recommend this book to everyone although the language of Austin's time is difficult to read it does become easier after a few chapters so don't let this stop you. The love story between Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy is wonderful. Austin does a wonderful job of adding humor to this story.[return][return]http://historicalromancemel.blogspot....

Whilst I have seen the movie more times than I can say and I've also watched the BBC mini series I loved the book. It is the ultimate love story and I should think the beginning of a wonderful marriage. This is the only Jane Austen I've read but after reading this one I've decided to try another.
