Reading this book from a guy's perspective stirs a lot of emotions within. I think I connected deeply with the character of Adam Roberts, and how the chaos in his mind was being told by the Universe. We don't get to read many books these days that touch upon the emotions of a man, but this book has dug deep into that surface and not to mention, so well. I have had an honor of receiving this book as an ARC. It is a very unique story with a surprisingly unexpected ending. Universe is narrating this story, so the POV is 3rd person.

It's been quite long since I picked up any emotional story and ahhh! this book made me wonder why did I go on that route again. I will be honest, I enjoyed the first half of the book, then in the middle I felt like the story was dragging, but I get it, sometimes those things are necessary for the story to paint a picture in reader's mind. This is a mix of historical fiction and western romance because the story revolves around two different time periods (starting with 2022 and then taking us way back in 1836). Adam Roberts is a well-known celebrity, and like every celeb, his real and reel life are very different (one would think!).
