This book gets 2 stars because Poppy crazy murdered that guy who was a huge asshole and I enjoyed that particular moment. The rest of it made me cringe a lot and I cannot get past how much talking and explaining was done for me to still not really understand what the fuck is going on in this world

4.5 ⭐️ I read the Flesh & Fire series first and was instantly hooked so decided to start the Blood & Ash series. I adored the spicy romance, banter, and characters in this book. Also, the ending, eek! Such a cliffhanger! I have definitely fallen in love with JLA’s writing and can’t wait to binge the rest of the series ASAP! I wish I could have given this book a full 5 stars but did have to take off a bit for the slow start, however I do have high hopes for the next book!
