Such a beautifully written dark fairytale. *Immediately* onto the next book
A beautiful, wintery Russian fairy story that left me spellbound! I liked seeing the conflict between people and spirits, “old ways” vs. “new,” and life vs death (where the good side is not so easily identified).
What a compelling heroine was Vasilisa! I can’t wait to see where her strength of will, latent magic, and propensity for mischief takes her next, haha!
