What Members Thought

This is the most creative, unusual book I have ever read. It's weird as hell, it's funny, it's creepy. It had dozens of lines that I read over and over again because they were so beautiful or perfect or interesting.
It starts slow, but as soon as the Dust-Wife shows up get ready for spectacular chaos. ...more

Nothing is fair, except that we try to make it so. That’s the point of humans, maybe, to fix things the gods haven’t managed.
Starting off my spooky reading season right with this charming dark fairytale. I loved the “rag tag” crew coming together for an impossible mission vibe.
My favorite was the dust-wife who had no time for anyone’s (living or dead) bullshit lol.
Also the goblin market was such a great scene.
I can’t wait to read more T. Kingfisher!
