“I am a being compromised of letters, a character created by sentences, a figment of imagination formed though fiction.”
okay so I actually liked this book more than I thought I was going to. the writing style wasn’t the best (the author obviously didn’t believe in consistency when it came to grammar) but the storyline was enough to keep me into it.

Great book! So fun and fast paced! I wish I completed the book sooner. There is so much character development throughout this book and I think that’s amazing! I was definitely a little bit disappointed with the ending but I don’t think it really changed my rating ...more

KENJI KENJI KENJI KENJI KENJI

Is it bad? No. Is it the best story I’ve read in my whole life? Also no. I was really excited for this because everyone and their mother LOVES this series and thinks it to be amazing, and I was honestly let down a little.
Don’t get me wrong, I did like the book. There were no problems with it that had to do with the actual novel itself. My main issue with it was that I know Warner is Juliette’s endgame, even though he’s the absolute worst in this book. Sure, he probably gets better, ...more

a lot of people have recommended this book to me, and it’s very hyped up online, so i had high expectations.
when i started it, i didn’t really like it. the prose was very flowery and confusing asf, and i feel like the background wasn’t set up enough in the beginning, so i didn’t really get the plot for a little bit. but after juliette and adam escaped the asylum, it got SO much better. the romance was absolutely lovely, although usually i don’t like the childhood-friends-to-lovers trope, althou ...more
