I have a theory: Well Obviously Violet now has a ring on "The" finger with the emerald from The Sword of Tyrrendor, she basically has Aretia now. And Imogen took away the memory of what happend during the 12 hours she was missing after the battle.

This was a whirlwind of adventure, friendship, magic, uncertainty, and strength. This book was everything it promised to be, and although do agree it around have been shorter and a lot of it felt like filler, it was amazing in so many different ways. I enjoyed the imagery throughout the entire book as well as the growth and development of the characters.
