i was right
zero scarllet and julian moments but A LOT of tella and legend moments
so even tho legend and tella are obv not as good as julian and scarllet i still love them

the drawings were just too pretty

a little bit lower than 4 stars bc wtf was this kidnapping ( kinda felt he wanted to harass her) thing
that is so not tella and legend
and why was she saying she didn’t know if he was gonna pull the blindfold down or her corset?😭
and why did she kiss him if she wasn’t even sure it was legend

This was the perfect mini-addition to the Caraval series! Not only was it just as magical as its predecessors, but it was also full of excellent description and fairytale themes. I feel as if there aren't enough words to describe how much I loved this novella. It was everything I wished it would be, and it gave me an excellent glimpse back into the world of Caraval, which I had wanted for a while.
