Oh my gosh. The ending of this book…
I have so many questions but like 60% of them are WHY?

I know I’ve said it so many times before, but I love Cardan so much. I can see why he gets so much hype, like this man literally had me giggling and screaming. And his backstory 😭. My boy does not deserve the neglect and abuse he had to endure.

Loved loved loved the politics in this book! The subplot of romance was so well done and the enemies to lovers caches me EVERY TIME!😍😍😍

A very good book. I found it slightly better than the first one (though when I read it I was in a reading slump and wasn’t into fantasy at the time), mainly for the romance between Jude and Cardan. I love them, but the ending was so stupid. (WHY DID HE HAVE TO DO THAT?!) Jude is a very good character. She’s complex, interesting, infuriating at times which makes her relatable, and altogether a very good root-able main character. I enjoyed the storyline, fell for all ...more
