I started off enjoying the book as an easy read, despite expecting it to be predictable one. Halfway through, it started really dragging, and at about three quarters of the book I was getting pretty frustrated as it became quite clear that the author couldn’t think of other ways to keep the plot going other than thwarting each character’s attempts at solving the “mystery,” the answer to which would’ve been pretty obvious to any reader the moment Cameron unpacked the jewellery ...more
