red is on a spring break road trip with her five friends, but it quickly goes downhill when their RV breaks down and no one has cell service. a shooter is threatening them to reveal their secret, and no one’s sure who among them is trustworthy.

i LOVED a good girl’s guide to murder, so i was super excited for this when i found out about it! i don’t read a lot of mysteries, but i’ll always read ones written by holly jackson. this book gave me so much anxiety and got super close t

This was not my favorite book by Holly Jackson but I still really enjoyed it.
The way that the book was written, how the whole story takes place over the course of one night was super interesting but at the same time I feel like it affected how invested I got and how much I cared about the characters overall.
The plot twists were really good and a lot of them did surprise me while some I did kind of guess shortly before they were revealed.

Such a wild ride! I was totally invested in the story and couldn't put it down. The characters felt real, and the tension was off the charts. But honestly, by the end, it felt like something was missing. I wanted a bit more closure or something to tie everything together. Still, it was a super fun read! Jackson knows how to keep me hooked! ...more

It was a page turner! I really liked the twists and turns and that Oliver finally got his justice. The characters were well developed and I really like all the interactions within a high stress environment! Really great read.
