i wish i could give this book a better rating but it took me 𝘴𝘰 long to finish.

bree and archer's story was wholesome and devastating at the same time. the setting and vibes of the book were 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. but sadly i was bored or 'not-so-interested' in what was going to happen most of the time.
what i missed were better developed side characters. i appreciate that mia sheridan wanted to incorporate other characters into bree's life but most of them felt very flat.

Archer’s Voice has been on my tbr for a while and I am so glad I finally picked it up. I started and finished this in less than a day and ca Archer’s Voice 4/5 ⭐️

Archer’s Voice has been on my tbr for a while and I am so glad I finally picked it up. I started and finished this in less than a day and can confidently say this was a beautiful, raw, vulnerable and emotional romance with the perfect amount of fluff and spice. Yes, I did cry. I think my heart was constricted, tears brimming throughout 90% of this novel. Not a slow burn, but not an instant love either; a perfect fated pace.
If you enjoy the movie Safe Haven, I am sure you will love this! They explore similar themes.

Nothing gets me going like found family and a small town romance. The feminine urge to pack up and spontaneously move to some quaint, small town on the east coast 🫡🏃🏻‍♀️

Author Mia Sheridan is an exceptional writer; she tackles intense topics in such an articulate manner. The topics within this novel are intense and traumatic, but the way she explores the healing process, fear, regret, acceptance etc. it is all so beautifully exemplified. Not only that, but you know she’s a good writer when characters get under your skin. I’ll have to read Travis’s story because it sounds like he may be redeemable….we shall see.

Reading this, I fell in love with the unconditional love and support Archer and Bree give each other. Their communication is EVERYTHING.

I will forever and always love reading romance novels.

Shelves: physical-copy, read-in-2023, blame-booktube-not-me

To be honest with you, this reads entirely like a CoHo book. But, that doesn’t really mean anything besides that it’s an emotional romance.

I don’t think small town romances are really my thing, considering I live in one and they aren’t as great as everyone makes them out to be.

Archer is quite possibly the sweetest love interest I’ve ever read about.

But yeah that’s my feelings on this book. Meh.
