so i FINALLY finished this. i actually planned on giving it two stars, but ill go with three since i wasn’t expecting that ending and i loved evie and trystan too much. honestly, my main issue is that we didn’t get enough romance between them. like we only got one kiss and it wasn’t even romantic anyways so wtf is up with that 😭 there was so much tension between them at times and i was waiting for one of them to admit their feelings, but it never happened which was disappointing. this was also b ...more

I think the reason why I can't rate this higher than 3's is because the writing really put me off. It was too cheesy if you know what I mean? And certain phrases/sentences were just a little funny...like I wouldn't expect a normal person to phrase it like that. I'm only being nitpicky with it because of its casual/modern tone.

It also felt like Evie and the Villain were trying too hard to fit the grump x sunshine archetypes. Evie more so, but I also do like my chara ...more
