one horse trope lol🐎!!
I live for the Paekai banter i also found it funny how they were chained to each other for most of the book. This book was definitely less plot and more relationship development between Pae and kai which I honestly didn't mind. There were times when it got a bit repetitive though but the writing in this one was much better than powerless

this book was perfection. yes there wasn’t much plot but i loved hearing about their past and how it impacts them now. when they got to the poppy field it was so wholesome and i wish they just stayed there and ran away from the guards or something. the ending was so out of pocket. kitt why?!?😭
