Such a cute read🎀💐
What I loved:
•Eva was so adorable🫶
•The plot twist at the end, omg the betrayal😩
•THE TENSION🔥🔥🔥
•LaLa was amazing!!

What I didn’t love:
•Sometimes the setting was a bit confusing. I couldn’t always quite tell where things took place. For example, Chaos’s “dungeon”. One second they were walking through hallways, then there randomly spawned cages and suddenly they’re in an arena??? What?? They walk back out and BAM there is a cabin sorta thing with a human sized cage ...more

5 STARS !! WOW!! This book was so so magical. Stephanie Garbers writing is immaculate.
I connected to all these characters and this magical world so much. I love Evangeline, she deserves the world and a true love. She is one of my favorite mc I have read so far this year. She deserves it all.
AND JACKSS?? HELLO?? I’m down bad… THE LICKING??? um yes please. I love evil blonde men

I’d give this book a solid 3.5 (maybe 4) because this is my first fantasy fiction book, which I can somewhat recommend for beginner readers. I liked how each chapter was either a new adventure or something intriguing. Lastly, I liked the style of the book. In other words, reading the character's inside thoughts and reminiscing helped keep track of the story.

I really really loved this book!
It was so easy to read and I was really invested in Jacks and Evangeline. I wish more time was spent exploring the southern region but I will definitely be reading the sequel
