i went into this book thinking i would love it, though i never really liked icebreaker by hannah grace. this one's not as bad as icebreaker because it wasn't unnecessarily long, but ... i think it's me. honestly, i think my sports romance era is officially over.

my biggest problem was with summer, the female lead. she's portrayed as a grumpy, goal-oriented girl, which is fine. but she was unnecessarily mean all the time. she hurt aiden's feelings so much with her mean actions ...more

‧₊˚ ┊✦ I wasn’t at all how I was going to like this book considering the plot of this already had drama in the school and family background issues, the plot itself does reminds me a lot of Icebreaker but I still really enjoyed it as after all it’s always hockey romance I love!

‧₊˚ ┊✦ Summer- I found summer rather cheeky her being slightly grumpy aswell towards Aiden especially when it comes to helping him out it always did have its downfalls with their relationship but some scenes with them two were pretty funny.

‧₊˚ ┊✦ aiden - I really loved that aiden really did care for summer if even if had a cocky way of expressing his feelings towards her I just loved his humour, I think aswell he was an amazing captain for the hockey team keeping everyone in line especially during training sessions and out of the arena when it comes to party’s he’s always looking out for his team.

‧₊˚ ┊✦ the romance I wasn’t at all struck I wasn’t sure when there were a couple it just seemed far fetched to forced to be together but i did like the whole romaance the firsts of everthing knowing each others quirks and all. i loved the romancee here so much cant wait to find out moree how this series progress

‧₊˚ ┊✦ I loved the epilogue and the bounus chaper so much i cannot wait to dive into the next book of this series was so fast paced too i loved Kian i hope the next book is about him he slayed aswell in that book! i wasntt expecting tto love this book as much as i did why i gave it such high rating, i read this in a full day i was obsessed with everything im slowly coming back into my hockey genre too i missed this world so much the cheesy lines too i love it
