Page 190 was my last stop in this book.
I don't know if I'll return to it this year, maybe the second book will be better, but for now, no.
I would like to push this book for my love, Kai, but it's too much.
Too much of what is described here is not to my liking, and even Kai cannot help and save the situation.

this book had me in shambles in so many ways straight to the very end

Ok so…this is me maturing and actually realising how much I didn’t care for this book LOL. Idk what possessed to originally rate it 5 stars (??) since this book is a copy and paste of so many others, and also the absolute cliche enemy to lovers conversations attempted to be written in this that just felt so forced…idk maybe I’m just turning into a hater but I seriously overhyped this book..

FANTASIC.. seriously. The banter between kai and payton literally is TOP TEIR OMG. I NEED THE SECOND BOOK NOW.
I’m obsessed!!! this book had everything I needed for a 5 star read. high stakes, enemies to lovers and banter. Paedyn is an amazing character who shocks me even though she has no power. The romance in this book is everything let’s just say the banter is bantering. Kai is my new favorite book boyfriend. The ending will keep me thinking about this book for a while.
