This book reminds me of the high school teenage experience I could’ve had. I seriously devoured and enjoyed this book. I was smiling and screaming like an idiot through scenes. Liz and Wes are so cute together, I love their banter. The movie and TAYLOR SWIFT references made me love this book even more. I know many people are obsessed with this book, so my review might not fit the standard but hey, so be it. To be honest, this book is 2.5 ⭐️ for me mostly because of the main character, aka Liz. Maybe it’s because im no longer 16, but I couldn’t relate to Liz in any way. The way she treats her loved ones because of her selfish desires? That’s a big no for me. ׂ╰┈➤ EXTEREMELY disappointed in this one. Why was it so overhyped on tiktok and here? And i also saw someone say this is the cure to all reading slumps. Babe, i'm gonna hold your hand when i say this.. but this was NOT the case for me. This has been dragging me along for a month, not really helping with my bummed up mood about exams.
