It definitely had a lot of parts that I was loving. I enjoyed the light stalking, the besties 👯 , the “who done it?”🔪🩸👵🏻, the cliffhanger ending, also the pacing of the book kept my interest and …some of the sex scenes(house of mirrors)??

This was a book I put off for a long time, a little nervous given some of the reviews of how dark it was; however, I don't even think I would say it was the darkest book I've read.
Now - That being said - were there incredibly dark scenes? Yes! Incredibly dark topics and scenarios? Absolutely Yes! Trigger and Content warnings? Yes and Yes!
BUT - were there also beautifully written lines and character development and growth? 100% yes! I even wrote down a few of the quotes that were just s ...more

This was my first step into dark romance and it was very different to the books I normally read. I enjoyed it though, but it has made me question my own thoughts and opinions about what I believe is OK in a book, vs ok in real life... hah. Look forward to the second part now!
