their relationship is cute as hell but sometimes it felt pretty forced??? anyway this quote altered my brain chemistry:
“I won’t write you poems or serenades beneath the moonlight. But you are the only woman I have eyes for. Your enemies are my enemies, your friends are my friends, and if you wanted, I would burn down the world for you.”
(this was a quick read while i’m waiting for crown of midnight but now i’m THRILLED to read twisted games)

Did it have a plot? Yes. Was it the best or most original plot? No, but it did have multiple romance tropes that I look for in a book. Hooked enough on the characters to want to get into the rest of the series.

Really enjoyed this, good romance and some really great twists. I had a totally different book on the list as my next TBR, but I've had to go straight into the next book in this series.

The spice was a little distasteful for my liking but I did like their relationship between them besides when he was ultra possessive and crazy haha
It ended in a giant bomb so I have to read the next one haha but we’ll see how it goes!
