This book started off so strong and super creepy, I had really high hopes for it being a 5star read for me! But the middle part started to feel a bit repetitive and dragged on. I felt like a lot of what was happening could’ve been wrapped up faster. Still, I really enjoyed Blackwell’s writing style and definitely want to check out more of his books.

I really enjoyed this book until the very end. All of that build up and that’s what ends up happening? Maaaan.
Still worth the read though.

That one had me and then lost me. I didn’t like the ending and it kinda ruined the whole book for me. I might try it again and hopefully I’ll like the ending more. I do recommend because there was ALOT good about this book so you should definitely check it out!

They hear desperate, aching calls from the voices of their loved ones, both long dead and alive alike, skittering footsteps

A really GREAT Horror read. This book had me from the first page. Very well written with spine chilling detail. The only reason it didn’t get five stars is because the ending lacked for me. It wasn’t what I envisioned and kind of just felt incomplete to me.
