I've passed by this book so many times, I thought it was just anther supernatural book which is fine but most bore me and don't scare me. To my absolute surprise it was a Native American supernatural book!!! I'm Native American and I grew up with some scary lore and beliefs. Don't whistle after dark, don't answer the calls from the woods, leave offerings for the little people... I could go on. When I first started reading this I was like oh no... It's a wendigo, the absolute stuff of nightmares ...more

That one had me and then lost me. I didn’t like the ending and it kinda ruined the whole book for me. I might try it again and hopefully I’ll like the ending more. I do recommend because there was ALOT good about this book so you should definitely check it out!

This book gave me major anxiety and was super well written and creepy… until the last 10%. Would rate it 4.5. Lost me there but the lead up… phenomenal.

What should be a romantic weekend getaway in a idyllic snowy cabin quickly devolves into a literal nightmare, as the couple faces a crescendoing onslaught of torment. They hear desperate, aching calls from the voices of their loved ones, both long dead and alive alike, skittering footsteps

I was surprised by how much I loved this book. I loved this authors world, and was riveted and horrified by this book.
I live in your walls (real) (go check)
Closer to a 3.5 than a three but it was enjoyable. Unfortunately it’s not very memorable tbh
