I'm sitting on the balcony. It's an early Saturday morning, and it feels like the rest of the world is still asleep, although the sun is already up in the sky. I'll be honest with you, I'm more of a rainy day kind of person. The balcony bathes in the sunlight, and i close my eyes. The darkness I desire is nowhere to be found, so I go inside the house to se

Wow! Wow! Wow! I’m completely blown away by this book. I have now read over 200 books this year and this has moved itself into my top 3. This book is about body dysmorphia and a hard reminder of the society we live in .

this book centered me in reality.

This is my first Chandler Morrison book, and the first of Sadie Hartmann’s “My Dark Library,” collection that I have read. It is dark. It is horror, arguably extreme horror.. but I believe it poses a very important question.
What is beauty? And how far will we go to achieve it?

Helen Troy is a model in the bustling city of Los Angeles, and she is always the skinniest girl in the room. After she sees a model she decides is prettier than her, Helen spirals dramatically downwards and follows the dama
