Was this book a literary masterpiece? Absolutely the fuck not. But it sure as hell was a whole load of fun!
This book almost landed on the DNF pile in the first 10%. I was just not vibing with the writing style, the way it was told as if you're watching a movie simply didn't do it for me. But when the first bit of gore hit, it definitely caught my interest and made me curious. If that bit of gore had not been there at that exact moment, I would definitely have DNF'ed ...more
