This was such a joy to read. The illustrations are wonderful, the stories fun and with a moral in the end (just like any fairy tale), while Dumbledore's notes expand the Harry Potter world, giving us glimpses into wizarding history. ...more

It was okay. I'd rather just read a collection of short stories without the interpretations of Dumbledore as it just made the stories feel flat.
