Wow, I really loved this book!
It had an atmosphere of the Grimm fairytales in it and Dumbledore's notes were particularly insightful and thought-provoking. 'The Fountain of Fair Fortune' and 'The Tale of The Three Brothers' (I could practically hear Hermione reading inside my head until this story finished) made a lasting impression on my memory. Beautiful illustrations and drawings kept me smiley as the pages went on.

Magical book. It contains wonderful tales that people can learn from. I like the hairy heart too, even though it was pretty sad and a bit creepy. I love the story of the Three Brothers and the Fountain of Fair Fortune.
I hope that a lot more people will have the chance to read this book. I would want children to read this too. JK Rowling is just amazing. She's fantastic! ...more

That was quick.
I gave this an automatic 5 stars, because of reasons.
Favourites include of course, The Tale of The Three Brothers and Babbitty Rabbitty and Her Cackling Stump. My muggle brain did succumb to her trick and I did think that it was the stump cackling.
I really appreciated how Dumbledore's notes were written. I could hear his voice reading them to me. What a perfect execution.

The short stories are so beautifully written, and really echo the kinds of tales told to children in real life. The baddies always get beaten, and the good people win.
