As a young child, I grew up surrounded by the Harry Potter universe. The books where a childhood classic among many of my peers, and as I grew older, the movie era of Harry Potter began. I remember being around 7 yrs old when the first movie was released and I became obsessed. It was unfortunate however that I chose not to read the books until I reached adulthood, seeing as how I was happy with simply viewing the movies over and over again.

Great book.
First time ever reading this and although I saw the movie first this book is just so much better wow. So much story and development from the characters we know and love. At first I thought the book wasn’t as good as the last, but wow my mind changed. So many things happened in this book I was staying reading it at very late times.
Although this book took me forever to get through and I found it to be too dark for me in some places, it got a 3 out of 5 from me. I hope that the next one is even better.
This was my second time reading this through and I enjoyed it even more this time than the first. I love Rowling's writing style.
