I won this book from a Firstreads giveaway. That doesn't affect how I feel about this book.

In my opinion, The Sins of the Father will appeal to adult fiction fans and to historical fiction fans as well. Sins of the Father is the second book in the Clifton Chronicles, so I would strongly suggest for the reader to read the first book.

Almost as good as the first book in the Clifton Chronicles but not quite. I have had to reserve the next ones at the library and have rushed down there already. I think I'll be reading much more Jeffrey Archer in the future... ...more

This is the second book in the Clifton Chronicles series, and I enjoyed it as much as the first book. It was a well written, easy to read book, and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
