Oh dear! I want to love it but I also hate it. The amount of emotional turmoil this brings is too much for my fragile mental state. I should be focusing on exams but here I am trying to decide if that ending was marvelous or simply amazing.

This is a fantastical/imaginative story that just grabs your hand the moment you unravel the Oh dear! I want to love it but I also hate it. WHEN COMES THE CIRCUS TO MY TOWN?

This is a fantastical/imaginative story that just grabs your hand the moment you unravel the black drapes and decide you want a peek into the obscure room filled with mysteries.
I was constantly confused but also understanding the situation only bought me great suffering in the end.
The threads are so finely woven into a story that sometimes I had no idea how many stories I was reading. The amount of overlapping did not diminish the meaning, no, it just spurred me ahead to discover more.
Every detail, every line meant so much more than it was giving away at first sight.

This is amazing. To make the reader question, wonder and ponder every written word. The moment you realise that No word is useless, that every word has it;s mission, every word is just another piece of puzzle. And I set my goal to assemble the puzzle in an exquisite mode.

My only problem is that I have a feeling that the reltionship between Celia and Marco wasn't as centerpieced as I would've liked it. In an upcoming re-reading I might give it one lesser star.
Their relationship is overly and madly the most subtle romance I'm ever going to put my hands on. I loved it. Every word of it. Well, every little word the book gave up about them. It's so little. There are so many characters. So much is happening. Time-space continuum interrupted. Maybe the beauty is in the subtle, little happenings.

But I know this:
In a little twisted corner of my heart and soul where all my most loved characters are residing and living happily ever after, Celia and Marco have their own circus erected and they are gonna inhabit my heart forever.

I was intrigued by this book after reading caraval. Sadly this book was a disappointment compared to caraval which I loved. The book was over the place with the time jumping and all the characters within those sections. I think if it wasn't for the time jumping it'd be a better book. The writing was pretty. If I decided to DNF this I wouldn't be missing out on anything really. ...more

I love books about the circus, the writing was my favorite part. it was full of magic and wonder. I wish the ending would have been more about the main characters but overall it was great!
