I honestly thought I wouldn't like this book, what with the cutesy cover (albeit the knife), but it was actually a pleasantly delightful read. Never judge a book by the cover so they say! I actually wanted to eat popcorn while reading this book. It was funny, cute and interesting.

First and foremost, I demoted Rebel Belle from four stars to three because of the grammatical errors throughout the novel. I was quite disappointed with the overuse of passive voice in the first few chapters, the misused comma rules, and, most of all, the ridiculous amount of sentences that ended with prepositions. I understand that the story was told in the first person, and from a high school girl's point-of-view, but that does not excuse poor grammar.

I like this....it feels like I'm reading a chick-lit with an angst. I didn't like Harper at first because she's a little too girly for me, but I ended up liking her because she managed to be a girly-girl with a kick ass attitude. and the story is absolutely hilarious. it's a light read and I loved it.
