this is a fun summer getaway in book form, and it's all about the vibes. the highlight was the assassination competition, which i absolutely adored. i loved the creative and playful concept because it set the stage for memorable moments.
this book absolutely nails the summer vibes. the setting is so vivid, i could practically feel the sun on my skin. it's full of beach days, family games, and those magical summer nights that make you nostalgic for your own summer vacations.

I was pretty excited about this book because the plot reminded me of "today tonight tomorrow" which is one of my favourite books of all time but then it became an insta lovey mess. The main couple are genuinely so annoying and I couldn't care less if they got together because I was emotionally checked out after the first 100 pages. The main conflict was so out of pocket as well, my exact reaction was "what in tarnation??" anyways If you are looking for a quick easy summer books w ...more
