I gave “Picking Daisies on Sundays” 3 stars because I did enjoy parts of it, but it didn’t fully hit the mark for me. I’m not a huge fan of the classic trope where the woman spends too much time pining for a man, dealing with miscommunication and unrequited love. I prefer romance novels where the focus is on the man yearning for the woman—where his whole world revolves around her. While it’s clear that Levi cares deeply for Daniella, the story is told from Daniella’s first-person perspective, so ...more
