LaToya Hankins does not disappoint. Her latest novel is like "School Daze" meets "Waiting to Exhale." (If only Spike Lee were a feminist.) I'm not a soror myself, but I could certainly relate to the adventures of line sisters, Kiara, Gloria, and Donna, three unique college students seeking to join a sorority, their personal development, love interests, tragedies and triumphs. LaToya Hankins does the unthinkable and surpasses up her semi-autobiographical novel with K-Rho, a novel that chronicle’s the life of three women pledging to be members of the illustrious Kappa Alpha Rho. I found the characters to be well developed and realistic. The incidents described in this novel had me reminiscing of my undergrad years and the experiences I encountered.
