Good short story. Having been born/raised in New England (Massachusetts), it was comforting to read of familiar places as well as the "New England mindset" and attitude I grew up with, and cherish. The beauty of the landscape, the strength of character of its residents, the stoic quietness of daily living .... comes alive in this short story of a life that goes from young adult to old age. I definitely would recommend this short story.
