How is it possible that we have never heard this story? I am amazed, saddened and appalled. War is such a horrific thing. This book truly touched touched my heart and made me want to learn more. I will definitely read it again and recommend it to all.

I think this is the first historical fiction book I read and it was a really good experience!!
I really enjoyed this book, the only down side was that I felt I didn’t know enough all the characters... I can see how it can happen in a book with a multiple points of view, i need just a little more. I did loved some of the characters, and that way I wanted to know more.
As someone who learned a lot about world war 2, it was nice to hear a new story and learn more about what happened outside ...more
