This book is so good, captivating and addictive.....a million times better than the twilight series. Though this book is quite long, it is worth a read!!! Best sci-fi book ever!!!!

Before I started reading this book, I did hear from a lot of people that the first 50 pages of this book were too strange. I start reading this book and indeed i couldn't get past the 50 pages, it was very strange. Than I decided to watch the movie first, so I could understand the story. The movie was really amazing. Stopped at page 200.
I didn't like at all, I think it's pretty repetitive, and we don't feel like the story is actually going somewhere. Although, the characters' developments are well written, especially Wanderer and Melanie's relationship.
Maybe when I finish all the unread books in my bookshelf, I will think about finishing The Host. ...more
