There are so many words for this book. I cannot believe that I have waited my entire life to read this book. I am so in love with the way Betty Smith painted a picture of the tragic life of Francie Nolan. How beautifully the girl lived although her life was in shambles. The ending was happy and made me want to know more about Francie. Did she become successful? Did she marry Ben? All of these questions are okay to have as that is a sign of a wonderful book. I highly recommend this book to anyone ...more
